The PAST - bugs that redirected to the correct 'path'

I graduated from the stream of Electronics and Communication in 2020. Yeah, you got it right, the time of ascending covid waves having the maximum impact on all the industries and creating fear and terror among all the salaried class, job seekers, especially the freshers. It was the same situation for me too, in my college days just before lockdown I was able to bag 2 off-campus offers from the very well-known service-based companies that every tier-3 college student normally gets selected to. But it happened that I couldn't receive any joining confirmation date until the very last time from both of them, so I proceeded with trying again and grabbing whatever came into my hand first as I couldn't afford to spend any further precious time waiting. I gathered my courage and brushed all my knowledge which led to my first ever full-time IT job in a Healthcare startup.

The PRESENT-spot of hustle and debugging

My journey continued in the same company working as a Backend software developer in 2021. Being grateful to be in the state of working and not being affected by regular incoming covid percussions satisfied me, but I was also always determined to climb the peak where I can be proud of myself and can appraise the worth I always wanted to achieve, so in my initial career days I continued overlooking my $$$ component and took the opportunity to learn and grow. I transitioned from my college-time acquainted tech stack of
PHP
-based web development to
Java EE
-based backend development comprising of web technologies
spring MVC
,
boot
and
hibernate
. My learnings through college time's active participation in hackathons, tech events, coding competitions, AWS conferences, and seminars now started to seem to align making more sense and get more furnished clubbed with my enterprise-level corporate skills.

My 2022 started pretty cold, but I always protected that inner spark from getting blown away. It was tough and stressful. By the time of the second quarter of 2022 I was brushing myself with my preparations of coding questions, and algorithmic logics, trying hard to learn the flavours of system design(yes I was getting ready for those questions as its asked in experienced profiles) and focus especially on my new core weapon,
Java
. In the third quarter of 2022, I struck my flambeau and started the hunt, after multiple failures it gave me setbacks but there were a lot of learnings too which I reinforced, I was determined for the race I persevered, and I finally hit the finish line in August, my cake month, I took my leap and successfully made a switch and entered a new industry namely "FinTech".

I was questioned a lot about my decision of the forthcoming industry in my exit interviews at the previous company as there were already some news and instances of recessions and market saturation that have started rumouring. This time since I was standing firm with the armour of my capabilities and skills I declined to be carried away due to time and situations. I proceeded ahead with all my enthusiasm and hurray now I am a part of the "Be-more" culture which is practised in my new FinTech bank.

The FUTURE- era of surprises, reaping fruits and getting production ready

The future is always a question mark filled with uncertainties and surprises. It's said to be out of our control but what is in our hands is how we model, how we declare the abstract function signatures and how hard we strive to accomplish them by taking baby steps. Currently, I am trying to follow the same, I learned a lot from the tech community to which I got connected in recent years and am very grateful and trying to give them back by sharing my knowledge wherever possible. I am aiming to pipeline some social media channels for this purpose in 2023, let's see how it goes. I am also trying to get in speed with
web3
and
blockchain
which I see be having storming potential in the near coming days. It would be a game changer as it would foster the complete transfer of the basis of the internet and believe that it would be powering its large fractions very soon.

Amid all my work dedication I am also trying to reward myself by concentrating on my physical health and learning balance between work and life, I feel that these are important in a corporate environment and just can't be overlooked. In 2022 I also started to be inclined towards becoming investment oriented, my little achievement in this was that I consistently monitored my expenses and started building an appetite for different segments of investment. I also aim to level up my hobby as a means of garnishing my rewards. So that was all about my little adventure in the tech world in the dev profile that I wanted to share.

Life is full of rises and falls, surprises and heartbreaks, and happy and sad chunks. Always keep persevering and manifesting with discipline. Let luck help you roar, but your hard work help you roar and thunder harder.

Cheers and Happy New Year 2023 🎉
